Mr. J.M. Chikura, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mr. Chikura is the former General Manager of Southern Africa Reinsurance Company. He brings on board a wealth of experience in Finance and Administration, having worked for Cluff Resources (now Ashanti Gold Fields) and Lonrho Zimbabwe Mining Division.

He is past President, Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Zimbabwe (ICSA); a Member of the Commonwealth Association for Corporate Governance (CACG), a Councillor and Chairman of the Training & Corporate Governance Committee of the Institute of Directors (IOD); a Member of council of Estate Administrators; Director of First Mutual Reinsurance; Former Director, Eagle Insurance Company, and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zimre Group Pension Fund.



Mr. M.M. Chingosho, Finance & Administration Director

Prior to joining the DPB Mr Chingosho was Chief Finance Officer for Circle Cement Ltd. He had a brief stint with ZBC in 2001 as Head of Finance & Administration. From 1993 to 1999, Mr Chingosho worked for the Zimbabwe Development Bank as Senior Finance Manager, Senior Treasury Manager, and as General Manager of ZDB Financial Services Ltd. He also worked for ZESA as Chief Accountant and Finance Manager between 1990 and 1992. He attained the rank of Chief Superintendent in the ZRP where he was Head of Finance.




Mr. G. Chirozva,  Business Operations Director

Mr. Chirozva has over 20 years practical central banking experience having been a Chief Bank Examiner in the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe’s (RBZ) Bank Licensing, Supervision & Surveillance Division (BLSS). Prior to joining BLSS, Gift briefly worked for the Ministry of Finance’s then Department of Taxes (now ZIMRA) as a Tax Assessor. He subsequently worked for the RBZ’s Exchange Control as an Assessor and later joined the Foreign Banking Department. Gift is also a former Part-time Lecturer on Management of Financial Institutions at the University of Zimbabwe (2002 to 2004). Gift has been engaged by such regional organisations as the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI), East Afritac, and the KPMG Risk Management in Finance/Banking (RMIF/B) programme to mentor specialists in advanced fields of prudential supervision including risk-based supervision, risk management, macro-prudential supervision, problem bank resolution, consolidated supervision, microfinance, and more recently financial stability assessments. His interests in applied research and capacity building led to the development and adoption of the COMESA Framework for Financial Stability Assessment and several prudential guidelines for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.



Mr. V. Vuma, Corporate Secretary/Legal Counsel

Mr Vuma brings with him a vast wealth of legal and commercial experience. He worked for the Ministry of Justice, Legal and parliamentary Affairs as a Magistrate before joining a reputable Bulawayo Law firm as a legal practitioner. Vusi also worked for the Bulawayo City Council as its legal advisor before joining the then PTC. He eventually became the Director Corporate Affairs for Zimbabwe Posts and is a former Board Member of Southern Africa Postal Operators Association.
